Just like the first encounter with a moose, your first encounter with a reindeer is also a very special experience. Often that first encounter is fleeting or at a distance. After all, they are wild animals. Our first encounter was on the road, along the road, from the car, somewhere in Norway, on the way to the Lofoten.
The reindeer are of course much more approachable if you meet them in an organised way. These reindeer are usually very tame and are open to a pet. Together with the reindeer, taking a sleigh ride in the evening to hunt for the Northern Lights, or taking a walk with the reindeer in the evening, that is really very beautiful.
