Luxury Group Tour - Skärgården

We leave promptly at 09:00 in Utrecht . On the way there is time for a first introduction in the group. Because the German Autobahn is always good for some surprises in the form of delays, we will drive north with sufficient buffer in time. At Bremen we make a stopover for a meal (not included). In the evening or late afternoon we arrive in Travemünde . There we make an estimate so that we are ready in time for boarding the Ferry. We sleep on the ferry and arrive the next morning in Sweden well rested.

We arrive at the port of Malmö in the early morning (around 07.00). We take breakfast 'on the go' and at our own expense. The Swedes do that with coffee and among other things with a freshly baked ' Kanelbulle '. Before we visit Malmö we first drive to a few interesting places in the area. Depending on the weather and availability there is already something nice to do this morning. The afternoon and evening you spend free in Malmö. A very cozy town . Overnight stay in a hotel in Malmö (included).

After breakfast at the hotel (included) we drive north. At Helsingborg we turn off onto the E4. This highway is the backbone of Sweden. With a total length of 1,590 KM it is already a 'thing' to drive. Along this E4 there are many nice and/or interesting places that are worth visiting. You also get to know Sweden a little bit 'along the E4'. Gränna is a small village with a lot of history. Cozy, small and very cozy. Overnight stay in a hotel in Gränna (included).

After breakfast at the hotel (included) we drive along Lake Vättern towards Vadstena and visit Vadstena Castle . A lovely place for a pit stop with beautiful views over Lake Vättern. The second largest lake in Sweden. From Vadstena we drive to the world famous stepped locks of the Göta Kanal, Bergs Slussar . Always a beautiful sight. Afterwards we drive to Gamla Linköping , the old town of Linköping. We end the day in the centre of Linköping. Free to spend for shopping and for a hot meal on your own initiative. Overnight stay in a hotel in Linköping (included).

After breakfast at the hotel (included) we slowly but surely drive into the area of ​​the Swedish Skärgården . Every now and then you see the bays of the Baltic Sea appear on your right and the highway winds through the landscape. Slightly hilly with rocks and lots of grassland where you could quickly spot deer and elk. We visit Trosa and prepare for the stay in the villa. Trosa is definitely a cozy place that you must have seen. The (included) evening meal we prepare in-house 'husmannskost'.

Joint breakfast in-house (included). We visit Stockholm, the Swedish capital . It can be busy on the road, Stockholm is the busiest traffic area in Sweden. Our destination is the Djurgården . Here you are free to visit the attractions: Vasamuseet, Skansen, Djurgården park or the Abba museum . You can fill in the evening meal yourself.

Joint breakfast in-house (included). We visit Stockholm again with the goal of Gamla Stan and the modern center . There is much to see. You can fill in the evening meal yourself according to your own idea.

Joint breakfast in-house (included). You have to see the rough nature . Experience the Skärgården and read the influence of the ice age on the landscape. A tough walk , bring your walking shoes. At the end of the walk we have a Swedish fika in nature, on the open fire. Super cozy! Back at our accommodation: The (included) evening meal we prepare in-house ' husmannskost '.

Take a break and stay in our accommodation. Enjoy the surroundings or take a short trip with us. Spending the day after consultation.

Joint breakfast in-house (included). From the inner harbour of Stockholm city centre we sail with a small cruise . Lunch on board . Beautiful views and impressions from the ship. The rest of the day is again free to spend in Stockholm. There may still be something on your wish list to do. You can fill in the evening meal yourself according to your own ideas.

Joint breakfast in-house (included). From the ferry port of Stockholm we take the boat to the island Fjäderholmen . Here you can taste and experience the life of the islanders and get a great impression of the 'outside' of the Swedish Skärgården .

From the plane you still have a view of the Swedish landscape with all its lakes. Time to sit back and enjoy all the impressions.
