Behind the scenes: Why our new stationery is more than just paper
What's currently happening at Holmstock Travel? What are you actually doing behind the scenes? These are questions we frequently get from the travelers we speak to. And that's precisely why we maintain this blog. We don't just want to take you to our spectacular outdoor destinations and share travel inspiration, but also give you a glimpse into our daily operations. Because even the less spectacular moments — like the weekly deliveries to our office — are part of our story and worth sharing. Something special was delivered this week: Our brand new stationery.
The perfect match with the stylized bear
This time we opted for BioTop paper of a sturdy, high-quality, with a soft, light cream shade. This specific shade was not chosen at random; it perfectly matches the warm, brown color of our logo and our well-known stylized bear.
The natural appearance of BioTop paper perfectly aligns with who we are and what we do. It reflects our deep connection to and respect for nature. It suits both the amazing Northern Lights tours as well as the bear safaris we organize — whether it's the vast wilderness of Finland or the fjords of Norway — but at the same time, it also matches the atmosphere and conviviality we love to share with our clients.
For us, it's all about warmth. Warmth in our communication, warmth in the trips we put together, and warmth in the end result: Your ultimate satisfaction.
Selective use for a smaller footprint
Anyone who knows Holmstock Travel knows that sustainability is not just a buzzword for us. That's why we have chosen a conscious strategy for this new paper:
We will use it very selectively. Our quotes, daily correspondence, and invoices will of course continue to be sent exclusively digitally via email or as a PDF.
We only use stationery when we want to do something truly special. Very pinpoint, purely to support a unique moment. We believe that if all small businesses contribute even a little to reducing their ecological footprint, the sum of those efforts makes a huge difference for the environment.
Why We Protect What Is Fragile: A Lesson from Ã…land
This respect for nature is not abstract for us; we encounter it daily during our travels. Consider, for example, the beautiful Glory of the Snow that we had the opportunity to photograph on the Ã…land Islands. See the photo above.
Close to the coastline of Mariehamn, we captured this magnificent plant. Only a few millimeters to centimeters in size, but in spring, it spectacularly colors the rugged Scandinavian coastline. Such fragile, microscopic details in nature constantly remind us how important it is to protect our environment with the utmost care.
