On top of Laponia
4 fantastic days of snowmobile safari.
- Holmstock Premium Collection -
A masterpiece of an excursion . Spend four days exploring the magical landscape of wintery, arctic Laponia with one of our guides. Where the two-day snowmobile safari and the three-day snowmobile safari switch back and forth, this tour continues. Deeper into nature, higher up in the mountains, and further off the beaten track.
Thanks to the guide's excellent knowledge and orientation, you'll explore areas normally reserved for those with extensive local knowledge. This includes knowledge of navigation in this spectacular terrain, snowmobile operation, and survival skills in these wild Arctic regions.
From the starting point, you'll travel approximately 350km by snowmobile through this beautiful area. That in itself is a considerable challenge. From the taiga and frozen bogs, across lakes and through forests, you'll zoom to the higher hills, culminating in your arrival at a mountain station, situated in an elevated position with exceptionally beautiful views. We believe this is Lapland's longest snowmobile safari , right there for the taking.
Along the way, there will naturally be stops for a ute lunch or fika, a photo opportunity , and perhaps even some ice fishing in one of the frozen rivers or lakes along the way. You'll spend your first night in a wooden cabin. You'll spend the days mainly riding snowmobiles, especially since you'll be covering a considerable distance. You'll see a lot, and with a bit of luck, you'll encounter herds of reindeer or other wildlife .
Day two ends in pure luxury . You'll enjoy a delicious meal at the mountain station and enjoy the open fire as you return from the outdoors. Outside, the sky is exceptionally bright with stars, and with a bit of luck, you'll be rewarded with a magnificent Northern Lights display. There's hardly a better place to see the Aurora Borealis than the mountain station.
This wonderful tour, including a visit with the locals, concludes with an overnight stay in a genuine Tentipi , in the region where it was originally developed, manufactured, and tested. For those who don't dare to spend a night in a tepee in Arctic temperatures, a cozy cabin is available.

The longest snowmobile safari
Lapland's longest snowmobile safari , in the most beautiful terrain you can imagine. It simply doesn't get any better than this! Let's just say it this way: we find the Arctic addictive. The air, the scenery, the activities, the magic of the Northern Lights, and yes, even the always delicious local food.
